The Vivo was followed closely by an unlikely rival in the form of the (new) Renault Kwid. The Kwid sold a very impressive 1 631 units last month to overshadow both the Toyota Etios (1 433 units) and Volkswagen Polo (1 410 units).
VWs in top ten
Toyota's Corolla/Corolla Quest managed a strong 1 265-unit sale, ahead of the Toyota Fortuner on 974 units.
The Ford EcoSport secured seventh place with 837 units sold, and the Volkswagen T-Cross did well on 685 units.
VW's Tiguan sold 630 units, and the VW Polo sedan goes tenth on 532 units.
